Philosophy of Christian Education

We believe that the Word of God is the basic foundation for all Christian education, and that the Scriptures are the foundation source of all knowledge.  The true aim is to give glory to God: II Timothy 3:16,17;  I Corinthians 10:31.

Our philosophy of education will therefore affect the curriculum, methods of teaching, the teacher, and disciplinary inter-relationships, setting the atmosphere for the entire school.

We believe it is a God-given privilege for parents and teachers to be able to "train up a child in the way he should go," to instruct him in righteousness, and to provide an education which will reflect Christian principles and thus be pleasing to the Lord.

This philosophy is designed to develop the individual child mentally, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually; even as Christ grew in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man.  The student is provided an opportunity to develop according to these principles as preparation for a well-balanced life.  Neglect in any one of these five areas can result in maladjustment

Academic subjects will be taught with an emphasis on Biblical principles.  We believe all truth is from God and real wisdom cannot exist apart from God and His Word.

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."  Psalm 111:10.
